I am Victor Talavera, the Inventor of the Split-Ender and President of Talavera Hair Products, Inc. I am writing to better inform you about the real story behind the Talavera Split-Ender by Revo and the New & Improved Split-Ender Maxi Kit by Talavera (a separate & independent company). Also I want to provide some important information on how to correctly operate the Split-Ender for better results.

1- REVO & TALAVERA ARE SEPARATE & INDEPENDENT COMPANIES: The Talavera Split-Ender was licensed to Revo in 2002/2004 by our company (Talavera Hair Products, Inc.). In 2004 Revo license ended. Then our company (Talavera Hair Products, Inc.) took over the Split-Ender marketing but first...the old Revo Split-Ender Version was discontinued due to Counterfeits (Copies) founded in the market made with very poor quality parts and blades. These Counterfeits (Copies) DO NOT WORK and had the same name, pictures, manual and retail packaging of the Revo Split-Ender version. Beware! Since then, our company (Talavera Hair Products, Inc.) developed the New & Improved Split-Ender Maxi Kit made and distributed for the first time by us. Revo is a separate and independent company and has no affiliation with Talavera Hair Products, Inc. what so ever, other than the license we signed with them in 2002/2004 for the marketing of the Revo Split-Ender version only. Talavera Hair Products, Inc. stands behind our products quality 100% and the new version comes with its new METAL PRESSING HANDLE for strength and durability but even better now we make it with our new Titanium Coating Blades for better and longer performance. There is no comparison between the 2004 Old Split-Ender by Revo version and our newest 2012 Split-Ender Maxi Kit by Talavera! Please make a note and pass the word!

2- DOES IT WORK: The Split-Ender works perfectly if you use it as intended and specially if you follow the instructions correctly! If you select the correct "Directional Switch Position" the Split-Ender blades will be able to reach the ends of your hair in order to be trimmed. If you selected the wrong position then the blades will not be able to reach the ends of the hair and therefore it will not be able to trim them. As a result, you will not find any trimmed hair in the blade cartridge. Always select the position that shows the arrow pointing down to the ends of your hair or to the floor so the blades can reach the ends. That is how the invention was designed in order to work perfectly. So follow the instructions correctly if you want the Split-Ender to work. IMPORTANT: THE SPLIT-ENDER WORKS FOR ALL TYPE OF HAIR! Please make a note!

3- IT PULLS YOUR HAIR: You must place a thin layer of hair over the hair plate after you brush it and is free of tangles. The Split-Ender is designed to trim 1/8" to 1/4" of the hair ends. If you put too much hair... it will pinch it... and it will pull it. So, brush each section of hair free of tangle before placing a thin layer over the hair plate and you will love how the Split-Ender Maxi Kit works on your hair. Please make a note!

4- ABOUT THE HAIR STYLERS: Lets be real! If you ask a Hair Stylist about the Split-Ender they will not speak highly of it as it takes business away from them.
